All of their procedures are minimally invasive which means that there are no hospital stays, patients leave the same day, incisions are less than 1 1/2 inches, and average procedure times are 60 minutes. Minimally Invasive procedures compared to open spine surgery has so many differences. The recovery time is a lot less, so is the surgery time, and there are no hospital stays. After being in surgery for 60 minutes your back pain will be alleviated.

Some Surgeries May Take Less Time

Yes, some surgeries may take less time at our facility. This really depends on the type of surgery patients have. Do not think that when patients are only in the operating room for 30 minutes that the quality of the surgery is not great. The procedure may be simple and not require a significant amount of time. Some of the bigger minimally invasive procedures that our spine surgeons do may take up to 90 minutes. Those procedures would mean that there are multiple levels of disc herniations that the surgeon needs to fix. Even though the surgery may take a longer and there are more incisions to be made, this does not mean that the surgeries are not considered minimally invasive. Even though the surgery may take more incisions and more time, rest assured they are still minimally invasive.
